Have you posted a listing that has remained unsold for quite some time? Below you’ll find useful tips that can help increase the chances of selling the item you have for sale.

Title
A good title describes the product clearly using just a few words. A good example:
“Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s 2022 – Dirty Lemon Burst”
The title above includes the brand, model, finish, and year.
By using a correct and descriptive title, like the example above, you dramatically increase the chances of your product appearing in searches both within Noiz and on Google. On the other hand, a generic title such as “Guitar for sale” does not attract clicks and does not include the necessary information for the listing to appear in relevant searches.
There is no need to include the product’s condition or whether you accept trades in the title, as these are displayed automatically via the relevant fields in the listing form.
You can read more about titles in the rules section.
Price
The price of a product plays a crucial role in the success of a listing and should be both fair and attractive to potential buyers. There are many cases where used products—often visibly worn—are priced at 80% or even 90% of the price of a brand-new item. In such cases, these listings usually remain unsold for long periods of time, sometimes even for years.
The reason is simple: when comparing options, a potential buyer will prefer to spend a little more money to purchase a brand-new product with full warranty, better cosmetic condition, and without the risks associated with buying used gear. When the price difference between new and used is small, the incentive to buy second-hand is essentially eliminated.
A realistic and well-thought-out price increases interest and clicks on your listing, improves the chances of completing the sale, and also creates a sense of trust with the buyer—helping you build a strong and reliable seller profile on Noiz.
Selling Abroad
You may have noticed the new “Delivery” field, which allows you to inform buyers that you ship within Europe or worldwide.
By enabling this option, you significantly increase your chances of making a sale, as you are addressing a large global market where potential buyers are often far more numerous.
Within the first two weeks of the new platform’s operation, more than 10 successful transactions with international users have already taken place. 100% of international buyers found the listings through search results (which is why we emphasized the importance of the title earlier).

Photos & Videos
The more photos you upload, the higher your chances of selling.
Potential buyers want to have a complete and accurate picture of what they are purchasing. If the product has dents or signs of wear, for example, these should be clearly visible in the photos.
Some tips:
Use natural lighting instead of flash
Make sure the space is tidy
Take multiple high-resolution photos from different angles to provide a complete overview of the item
If there are any marks or wear, take close-up photos so they are clearly visible
Photos must be authentic and not taken from the internet
(this is also covered by Noiz rules)
In addition to photos, you can also easily upload a video file. While not mandatory, we strongly recommend it, as it adds another dimension to the presentation and allows potential buyers to get a “feel” for the sound of the product.
Listings with real, clear photos and videos significantly increase the chances of a successful sale.
Description
The most important thing in the description is to be honest about the condition and history of the item. Describe the model in detail, how and where it was used, and include information about any servicing or maintenance. Avoid generic descriptions such as “guitar for sale.”
Use the description as a short presentation, answering common questions buyers may have and mentioning any particular characteristics or details of the item.
Communication
Buyers tend to choose sellers who inspire trust, even if the product is priced slightly higher than similar listings. A reliable and well-presented profile, combined with good communication, can make a big difference and lead to a faster and more successful sale.
For this reason, avoid one-word or rushed replies and make sure to provide complete and clear answers to every question you receive. Honesty plays a crucial role here as well: describe the condition of the product accurately and do not hide any details. This way, you not only increase your chances of selling by building trust with buyers, but you also gradually build a strong and reliable profile as a Noiz user—something that will benefit you in future listings as well.
Bump-Up!
Noiz gives you the ability to bump up your listings once every 24 hours. A bump-up pushes your listing higher in the listings, increasing visibility and clicks, and therefore the chances of a sale.
Bump-ups are available for free. For additional promotion options, you can read the related article.
